If you've ever been to the north Cascades then you know why it's nicknamed "BC south". The region has some serious big mountains, amazing terrain, and on top of that a world-class Heli ski operation. Similar to what makes Heli skiing in BC great, they have a ton of train a bunch in the subalpine so if it's snowing or a storm day they still have lots of terrain they can access. On the sunny days you're fully in the big mountains with alpine zones, huge rock, features, and chutes all around.
